She is qualified for USEF Pony Finals 2013 in the Small Pony Hunter division.

In 2012, Luna was awarded Achievement for Cross-Rails and Short Stirrup with Eva Bautista in the Greater San Diego Hunter/Jumper Association (GSDHJA).

“Posey” is a 14.1 h large pony hunter by *Colwyn Llewelyn (registered welsh) out of A Bit Quiet (Thoroughbred), by Quiet Cat. She was bred by Eric Caleca and born at Brighton Stud on April 22, 1998 (New Jersey Bred). As a yearling in 1999, she showed at The Devon Horse Show and won Best Young Pony at the New Jersey Pony Breeder’s Show with Eric Caleca. She was sold to Carol Carroll, an amazing horse enthusiast with an exquisite eye for a great pony. Piper J. Klemm received the pony of a lifetime on October 5, 1999.

With Piper, Posey found her career owner. She was slowly started under saddle as a two year old. Together, they competed in the three-year-old pony hunter breeding classes all over Pennsylvania in 2001, including The Devon Horse Show, where Piper was often the only junior handler in the ring. Posey (with Piper up) made her under saddle debut winning the young pony hunter under saddle at the Blue Rock Horse Show, Quentin, Pennsylvania in 2001.

Over the next two years, Posey & Piper gradually moved up from Pre-Children’s to Children’s and Schooling Pony Hunters, winning Championships all over the east coast including HITS Catskills (NY), HITS Culpeper (VA), McDonough School (MD), Garden State Horse Show (NJ), and St. Christopher’s (PA).

As Piper kept growing and then went to college, Posey found herself moving to keep up and trying the Green and Large Pony Hunters while she was at it. She settled at Randy Durand’s New Haven Farm (Los Angeles, California) in early 2005. There, Bella Peyser, who was just starting her riding career, leased her. Bella rode Posey to many championships in the Children’s pony, including Reserve Mid-Circuit Champion at Thermal in 2008 and Champion at Gold Coast in 2007, video here.

In 2008, Posey moved to Alicia Saxton’s Oceancrest Farm in Rancho Santa Fe, California, for a lease with Anna Sepkovic. In two years, Posey took Anna from walk-trot divisions to Children’s Hunter Pony, with numerous Championships along the way, video here.

In 2010, Posey found herself itching to jump 3 ft in the Large Pony Hunters. She teamed up with Kate Kramer at Waldenbrook Farm, trained by John French and Caerry Robinson of Woodside, California (also at some horse shows, Hope & Ned Glynn at Sonoma Valley Stables). Their teamwork lead to winning the 2010 West Coast Pony Finals, as well as Champions and Reserve Championships all over California. The following year, 2011, brought another year of continued success, with more large pony hunter, equitation, classic, and under saddle wins. Kate & Posey were 4^th in USEF Zone 10 in 2010 and 5^th in Zone 10 in 2011, along with PCHA year-end awards. A video of them winning round 1 of the NorCal Pony Medal Finals is here.

With Kate, Posey was featured twice in Showbiz Magazine, Sept./Oct. 2010 (p. 34) and Nov./Dec. 2011 (p. 13).

At the end of the show season 2011, Posey returned to her home, Fairbanks Riding with Andrea Hill for some relaxation time between show seasons. Piper got to ride Posey around Showpark (Del Mar, California), jumping her around for the first time in many years.

In February 2012, Posey moved to Millennium Farm to train with Jill Hamilton for the 2012 show season to do Short Stirrup and Children’s Pony Hunter with Tatum Tai.

Posey continued her success in 2012 with Sierra Willard and trainer Alanna Bloomberg in Santa Barbara, California. They earned the High-Point Green Rider Trophy for 2012 for the Santa Barbara County Riding Club (SBCRC), Year-End Champion in Academy Equitation 11 & Over, Year-End Reserve Champion in both Green Rider Hunter and Green Rider Equitation Divisions, and were 4th Overall in the Stirrup Cup Medal Finals.

“Ruby” is a 13.2 h (perm. card) medium pony hunter by Hidden Creek’s Rain Fox out of Champlain Shortcakes (by Rowfantina Gold Sovereign). She was bred by Lilli Biedermann (Lilli Bieler-Biedermann) and born at Vermont Pony Farm in 2007 (Vermont Bred). She was started under saddle in 2010 by Lilli. Piper Klemm bought her in October 2011 as a pony hunter prospect.

Ruby was flown from Vermont to Del Mar, California to train with Andrea Hill at Fairbanks Riding. Ruby quickly adjusted to all of the excitement of living at the Showpark Del Mar, early hacking videos are 1, 2, 3, and was started over fences in late Fall 2011. She made her showing debut in December 2011 in the county pony hunters at the Greater San Diego Hunter Jumper Association (GSDHJA) Jingle Bell Show with Summer Hill in the irons. Vermont Ruby Fox & Summer Hill were 10th Overall in the Medium Green Pony Hunters at USEF Pony Finals 2012. They were 7th in the Model and won the Best Modeled Pony Award.

In 2012, Vermont Ruby Fox & Summer Hill were 6th in USEF Zone 10 in the Medium Green Pony Hunters. She was 10th Overall at USEF Pony Finals in the Medium Green Pony Hunters, 7th in the Model, and won the Best Modeled Pony Award. She successfully completed her first USEF Pony Medal with Samantha Perlman. Additionally, Ruby & Summer were 10th in Year-End Points in the Pony Hunter Division for the Greater San Diego Hunter/Jumper Association (GSDHJA).

Europium ‘ROESY’ is a medium pony hunter (13.1 3/4 permanent card) currently for lease in California who is qualified for 2013 USEF Pony Finals (Lexington, Kentucky). “ROESY” is a 13.2 h medium pony hunter by Banbury Cross. She was training with Dominique Damico at Ramble on Farm (Malvern, Pennsylvania) when Piper Klemm bought her in October 2011 and officially changed her name from Twilight’s Rosalie. As ROESY wanted a name to match her intelligence, her new show name Europium is after the f-block lanthanide on the periodic table, symbol Eu and atomic number 63. Europium compounds can be used as luminescent agents, which is what ROESY does in the show ring. ROESY’s barn name is based on rotating the frame of the nuclear overhauser effect of nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. ROESY had several successful shows in the children’s small/medium pony hunters in Pennsylvania in 2011, including Reserve Champion at St. Christopher’s (Quentin, PA).

ROESY was flown from Pennsylvania to Del Mar, California to train with Andrea Hill at Fairbanks Riding. ROESY debuted medium green pony hunter division at HITS Thermal 2012 with 10 year-old Ella Frey in the irons (video). They won the green pony hunter model both Week IV & V and won the under saddle Week IV. ROESY was reserve champion in the Green Pony Hunters Week IV, qualifying her for 2012 USEF National Pony Finals in Kentucky in August.

Even though she wasn’t showing at Showpark County 3, Europium came up to the ring to hang out with her friends.

In 2013, Europium & Summer Hill were 3rd in USEF Zone 10 in the Medium Green Pony Hunters. Additionally, Europium & Eva Bautista were Champion in Short Stirrup at the GSDHJA Championship Horse Show in 2012 and earned Year-End Achievement in Cross-Rails and Short Stirrup.
